The short answer is “yes”. Although the program is busy, you will have some downtime to work as a team or on non-itrek projects if needed. However we expect this kind of work to be relatively limited and that you are able to stay fully engaged with the weekend.
itrek pays for every Leader to have a double room with another Leader of the same gender. You may request a specific roommate and itrek will do it’s best to match you. itrek cannot accommodate single room requests because of the volume of rooms we have booked.
All accepted itrek Leaders are expected to attend. Exceptions may be considered in rare cases due to specific conflicts.
All dietary restrictions, including Kosher food requests, should be indicated on your registration form. itrek will communicate any restrictions to the necessary personnel to ensure suitable food will be available at every meal.
Certified Kosher food will only be made available for those who indicate that dietary preference on their registration form. We cannot accommodate people who do not indicate on their registration that they require certified kosher meals. All other meals will be served Kosher-Style, which does not include forbidden animals, such as pork and shellfish, and does not contain both meat and milk/dairy products in the same dish.
Please note that not all sessions during the itrek Accelerator Leadership Weekend will be strictly observant of Shabbat. Sessions on Saturday may include limited technological support with microphones or monitors; however, the personal use of technology won't be required for any aspect of programming during this time, and we will do our best to maintain a Shabbat-observant atmosphere for Friday evening. If Shabbat observance is relevant to your participation, we encourage you to reach out to your Program Manager or itrek Point of Contact for more details and accommodations.
Also, please note: The hotel uses electronic key cards for room access.
Everyone will need to provide a credit card or debit card at check in to cover incidentals (i.e. room service, damage, etc.).
Absolutely. We encourage you to interact and connect with all participants at Accelerator Leadership Weekend and we will intentionally create spaces and opportunities to facilitate that type of interaction.
